Privacy Policy
As of: 08/09/2026
Overview
The protection of your personal data matters to us. This privacy policy informs you what data is processed when you visit this website and use our contact options, for what purpose this is done and what rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
In short: this website works without tracking. We do not use analytics or marketing services, we do not load fonts from third parties and we store only the data required to operate the website and to process your enquiries.
Controller
The controller responsible for data processing on this website within the meaning of Art. 4 (7) GDPR is:
ralwo is a brand of HYWOS; HYWOS is the business designation of the sole proprietorship of Abbas Mohammadi. The controller is the natural or legal person who alone or jointly with others determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data.
A data protection officer does not have to be appointed pursuant to Art. 37 GDPR and § 38 BDSG. Please address your data protection enquiries to support@ralwo.com.
Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by an external service provider (hosting provider). Our hosting provider is therefore a recipient of the data listed below; the servers are located in the European Union. Service providers that process personal data for us – besides the hosting provider, in particular our e-mail service provider – are engaged exclusively on our instructions and on the basis of a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. We will name the providers we use, with their addresses, on request at support@ralwo.com.
Each time this website is accessed, the server automatically collects information transmitted by your browser and stores it in server log files:
- IP address of the requesting device
- date and time of the request
- page or file accessed and the amount of data transferred
- HTTP status code
- referrer URL (the page visited previously)
- browser type and version as well as operating system
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the technically error-free presentation, the security and the stability of the website. This data is not merged with other data sources.
Retention: server log files are usually deleted automatically after seven days. Longer retention takes place only where required to investigate a specific security incident.
Contact form and consultation request
You can send us enquiries via the contact form and the form for a free initial consultation. In doing so we process the data you enter:
- name, company and e-mail address
- telephone number, if provided
- subject or topic of the enquiry, preferred date and time window, if provided
- content of your message
- time of submission and your confirmation that you have taken note of this privacy policy
The purpose of the processing is to handle your enquiry, to arrange and hold the initial consultation and to communicate with you afterwards. Your details are delivered as an e-mail to support@ralwo.com; the e-mail address you provided is set as the reply address (reply-to) so that we can respond to you directly.
After submitting a contact or consultation request you receive a confirmation of receipt at the e-mail address you provided; it confirms that your enquiry has arrived and sets out the next steps as well as our direct contact details. For sending and receiving these e-mails we engage an e-mail service provider as a processor pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. Your details are not passed on to third parties beyond this; in particular we do not use them for advertising and do not disclose them for advertising purposes.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR insofar as your enquiry relates to the conclusion or performance of a contract – this includes pre-contractual steps such as an initial consultation. In all other cases the processing is based on our legitimate interest in handling the enquiries addressed to us effectively (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The confirmation checkbox in the form documents that you have taken note of this privacy policy; it is not consent within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR.
We need the details marked with an asterisk in the form in order to process your enquiry and reply to you; without them the form cannot be submitted. All other details are voluntary and have no bearing on how your enquiry is handled. There is no statutory or contractual obligation to provide them – you can instead reach us informally by e-mail or telephone at any time.
To protect against misuse, the forms contain a check field that is invisible to humans as well as a limit on the number of requests per period. For this purpose your IP address and – for the consultation request – the e-mail address you provided are processed exclusively in the server’s memory and are not written to disk. The window evaluated is ten minutes (IP address) and one hour (e-mail address) respectively; the values are deleted at the latest when the application restarts.
Retention: we delete the data once your enquiry has been fully processed and no statutory retention obligations apply – as a rule no later than six months after the last contact. If a contract is concluded, we retain the correspondence within the commercial and tax-law retention periods of up to ten years.
Communication by e-mail and telephone
If you contact us by e-mail at support@ralwo.com or support@hywos.com, or by telephone on +49 157 83462052 or +49 155 65268578, we process your contact details and the content of the communication in order to handle your request.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR for contract-related enquiries and otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Please note that unencrypted e-mails can be read by third parties in transit. On request, you can send us confidential documents via a secure channel agreed in advance.
Retention: the periods stated in the section “Contact form and consultation request” apply.
Cookies and consent
Cookies are small text files that your browser stores on your device. We distinguish two kinds:
- Technically necessary cookies are required to operate the website – for example to store your cookie decision. They are set on the basis of § 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR and cannot be deselected.
- Optional cookies in the categories “Analytics” and “Marketing” are set exclusively with your prior consent pursuant to § 25 (1) TDDDG and Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. No services are currently active in either category; the selection is provided in preparation.
| Name | Purpose | Retention | Category |
|---|---|---|---|
| ralwo_consent (cookie) | Stores your cookie decision – the version number of the notice, the categories “Necessary”, “Analytics” and “Marketing” with your respective selection, and the time of the decision – so that the notice does not reappear on every visit. | 180 days | Necessary |
| ralwo_consent (localStorage) | Mirrors the same entry in your browser’s local storage so that your decision is preserved if the cookie expires or is deleted by your browser. Nothing is transmitted to a server. | Until you delete the site data in your browser | Necessary |
Your decision is stored on your device – in the cookie “ralwo_consent” and additionally under the same name in your browser’s local storage, so that it is preserved if the cookie expires or is deleted. Both entries remain on your device; they are not transmitted to our servers or to third-party servers. You can withdraw consent you have given at any time with effect for the future or change your selection: via the button below, the “Cookie settings” link in the footer, or by deleting the cookies and the site data in your browser.
Web fonts
This website uses the typefaces IBM Plex Sans, IBM Plex Mono and Schibsted Grotesk. They are served from our own server via the next/font function (self-hosting). No connection to servers of Google or other font providers is established when the page loads; your IP address is not transmitted to them.
Analytics services
We currently do not use any services for reach measurement or usage analysis on this website. No usage profiles are created and no data is transmitted to third parties for this purpose.
Should we use an analytics service in the future, this will happen exclusively after your prior consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, § 25 (1) TDDDG) via the “Analytics” category of the cookie settings. We will then supplement this policy with the provider, the scope of processing, the retention period and the option to withdraw.
External links
Our website contains links to third-party websites, for example to the competent data protection supervisory authority. When you click such a link you leave our website; the respective operator is solely responsible for the data processing on the linked pages.
We do not embed third-party content (maps, videos, social media plug-ins) directly in this website. Social network icons are plain references; displaying them does not transmit any data to the respective network.
Your rights as a data subject
You have the following rights in relation to us:
- Access (Art. 15 GDPR) to the data processed about you, its origin, the recipients and the purpose of the processing
- Rectification (Art. 16 GDPR) of inaccurate or incomplete data
- Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), insofar as no statutory retention obligations apply
- Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) – provision of the data you supplied in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format
- Objection (Art. 21 GDPR) to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR on grounds relating to your particular situation
- Withdrawal of consent (Art. 7 (3) GDPR) at any time with effect for the future; the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal remains unaffected
To exercise your rights, an informal message to support@ralwo.com or by post to the address given in the section “Controller” is sufficient. We respond without undue delay and at the latest within one month.
Right to object to data processing (Art. 21 GDPR)
You have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of personal data concerning you that is carried out on the basis of our legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. On this website this concerns in particular the server log files and the handling of enquiries that are unrelated to the initiation or performance of a contract.
If you object, we will no longer process the data concerned unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.
An informal message to support@ralwo.com is sufficient to object. No particular form is required and you incur no costs as a result.
Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
Without prejudice to any other remedy, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR) – in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged infringement. The supervisory authority responsible for us is:
SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content – such as your enquiries via the contact or consultation form – this website uses TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the address bar of your browser starting with “https://” and showing a padlock symbol.
Data you transmit to us while encryption is active cannot be read by third parties in transit.
Changes to this privacy policy
We adapt this privacy policy when the legal situation, our processing operations or the services we use change – for example when an analytics service is activated. The version published on this page applies in each case; the date of the last change can be found in the section “As of”.
As of
This privacy policy has applied since 08/09/2026. Please address questions about data protection to support@ralwo.com.
